Job Requirements:
- Proven experience as a 3D Generalist in the gaming industry, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in industry-standard 3D software such as Maya, 3ds Max, Blender, ZBrush, Houdini and Substance Painter.
- Strong understanding of modeling, texturing, shading, and lighting techniques.
- Experience with game engines such as Unity or Unreal Engine.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- A passion for gaming and a deep understanding of game development processes.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of 3D artists, providing guidance and feedback to ensure the highest quality of work.
- Create and optimize 3D models, textures, and materials for characters, environments, and props.
- Collaborate with the art director and designers to develop and maintain the visual style of the game.
- Ensure that all 3D assets are optimized for performance and meet technical requirements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues related to 3D assets.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in 3D art and technology.
- Participate in project planning and provide estimates for 3D asset creation
